CHARTERS
All teams should verify the arrival date of their charter boats.
Be sure that your charter has shrouds that have Sta-masters. If they cannot be provided, arrange to bring your own.
Verify if your boat comes with a Tactic compass and/or compass mount.
Snipes are complicated boats to charter. Teams will need several days to get their boats set-up and tuned properly. Rigging and placement of control lines may need to be changed.
See the link below for the list of tools and supplies that you will want to bring to the Championship from the US.
Be courteous and return your charter boat with everything in place as you received it. Remove Sharpie markings, remove bow and sponsor stickers, put lines back into place if you changed positions.
UNIFORMS
REPRESENT & GET COOL GEAR
Uniforms are not mandatory, but will be worn at the Opening & Closing Ceremonies. At a minimum, we ask that each sailor purchases a team tech tee that can be worn at the Ceremonies and while racing.
The kids will have a selection of tech tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, polos, shorts, caps and visors to choose from. Girls sizes will be available.
We also ask that sailors do pack one nice set of clothing, polo and nice shorts/skirt/dress.

BRING WARM SAILING GEAR
You are racing on the northern Atlantic, the water is only 64'F in August. Be sure to pack some warm sailing gear and summer gear. Hiking pants and or neoprene pants/shorts will help you hike better and stay warmer. It's always colder up front for crews. Do not expect to find Atlas glove in Europe, bring your own if you use them. All sailors are encouraged to bring boots if you wear them or not. Have them on hand for cold & breezy conditions.
