BIGGEST U31 SNIPE EVENT IN THE US
The MSI was first organized in 2012. In 2025, thirty - six teams with sailors from eight countries participated.
The MSI welcomes all sailors under 31. Sailors new to the Snipe and/or needing to charter, must apply and be accepted to the event. It is open to all experienced Snipe sailors bringing their own boats. Spots are limited.
The Friday clinic has two groups - sailors new to the Snipe and experienced Snipe sailors. Practice races for all begin at 3:00 on Friday.
Races are held on Saturday and Sunday. Coaching is provided to all new and novice teams during the regatta, during and between races (Snipe specific coaching only, not tactics).
Laser/ILCA sailors and those who like to hike are highly encouraged to apply.

CHARTERS
Charters are limited.
Sailors needing boats must first apply to the MSI by completing the Entry Form.

All new and novice Snipe sailors needing to charter a boat must attend the Friday Clinic.

The charter fee is $100 until December 5th. After December 5th the fee is $150..

No charters requests granted after December 19th.

All sailors borrowing boats must purchase charter insurance through the Snipe USA Class website for $40. Your charter fee may include insurance.

Charters are available Friday morning of the clinic.

Sailors wishing to train before Friday must make special pick-up arrangements in advance with the organizers.

CHARTERS DO NOT COME WITH SAILS
