CLINIC
FOR NEW SNIPE SAILORS
Open to sailors of all ages. Skippers and crews welcome. Must have previous racing experience. Sailors do not need to come with a teammate. Sailors planning to crew must bring gloves.
The clinic will start with a brief talk upstairs in the breezeway of the Sailing Center, then we will launch in already rigged boats to eliminate time in the sun.
Each new sailor will start in a boat with a coach who can both skipper or crew. Sailors who come as teams will later sail in the boat together. The clinic will focus on boat-handling and downind sailing with the pole.
Crews will want to bring gloves as the pole launcher line is very tough on hands. We reccomended that crews have their legs covered.
