Miami's Ernesto Rodriguez and Kathleen Tocke top the SSL Snipe Class Rankings for Skipper and Crew

After winning gold at the Pan American Games, Ernesto joined Kathleen at the top of the Star Sailor's League (SSL) rankings for the Snipe Class. The SSL ranking weights world, international, regional, and local events and awards points based on each finish. Rodriguez's first place finishes at the 2019 Don Q, the 2019 & 2018 North Americans, 2018 Western Hemisphere & Orient Championship combined with podium finishes at the 2019 Southern European Championship and the 2019 US Nationals contributed to his point total.

Tocke, who has been ranked number one since the Snipe Class joined the ranking, garnered points from her events with Rodriguez, as well as points from wins at the 2018 Southern European Championship and the 2019 Women's Europeans sailing with Gintare Scheidt (Lithuania), the 2019 North Americans with skipper Enrique Quintero, the 2019 US Nationals with Tomas Hornos, and second place finishes crewing for Portugal's Mafalda Pires de Lima at the 2018 Women's Worlds and the 2019 Italian Nationals with Pietro Fantoni, and a sixth place finish at the 2018 Master Worlds with Augie Diaz.

The SSL tally's points on a monthly basis.
